"Cinnamon" Gingerbread

2 cups Flour

1 cup Molasses

3/4 cup Buttermilk

1/2 cup Soft Butter

1/2 cup Packed Brown Sugar

1 tsp. Baking Soda

1 tbs. Cinnamon

1 1/2 tsp. Ground Ginger

1/4 tsp. Ground Cloves

1/4 tsp. Salt

1/2 cup Chopped Pecans

 

Combine all ingredients in large bowl. Beat with mixer on low until blended, scraping sides of bowl often. Beat on high until fluffy - about 2 minutes. Pour into greased and floured small square baking pan - about 9". Bake at 325F degrees for 1 hour until toothpick comes out clean. Cool, cut into squares. Serve with whipped cream or cream cheese on side.
