My mom was a great cook and an even better baker. When she passed away, I inherited her recipe collection - approx 8
tote bags worth. I just found her recipe for one of my favorites - Fuzzy Fingers, which she used for holidays and showers.
pkg dates, chopped
1 c. sugar
1/2 stick butter
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 c. rice krispies
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 bag coconut
Melt butter, add beaten egg and
sugar, add dates and stir until dates are melted. Do not scorch! Add rice krispies and nuts. When cool enough to handle, form
into fingers or balls and roll in coconut.
