Holiday Salad

1 large pkg orange Jello
2 c. boiling water
1 pt. orange sherbet
1 small can crushed pineapple w/ juice
1 c. miniature marshmallows
1 can (approx 11oz.) Mandarin Oranges (drained)
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 small container of Cool Whip (thawed)
Dissolve Jello in water. Add sherbet to Jello while still hot - stir until jello starts to set-up. Add pineapples, marshmallows, oranges, and nuts. Add Cool Whip and chill. Should be firm before serving. Chill for approx. 2-3 hours.
Hints: I use colored marshmallows for a different look. Nuts can be pecans or walnuts. You can also use fruit cocktail in place of the mandarin oranges. Just drain it well before using.
