Mom's Candied Nuts

4-5 c. nuts
1/3 c. white Karo syrup
1/2 c. sugar
2 t. to 1 T. salt
2 T. butter
Grease large cookie pan with butter. Heat oven 325°F. Heat syrup, sugar, & salt to boil. Place nuts on cookie sheet. Pour syrup mixture over nuts. Bake 25 minutes stirring 2-3 times during baking.
Pour out on aluminum foil. Cook 30 minutes then break apart. Store in air tight container.
Mom used pecans. Tastes great.
