More Casserole

We originally had five in our family when the kids all lived at home and this made enough for two meals. I think the leftovers taste just as good as the original. It's also good for those times when company is coming for the weekend. Let me know if you like it. 
2 medium onions, chopped
1/2 t. minced garlic - about 1 clove
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 T. vegetable oil
1 lb. lean hamburger
1 can tomatoes
1-3 T. chili powder (depends on how spicy you want it)
1 8oz. can tomato sauce
1 small can English Peas, drained
1 can whole kernel corn (drained)
14 oz. chopped mushrooms or small can mushroom pieces
salt & pepper
1-1/2 pkg. spaghetti - cooked and drained (about 8 oz total)
2 c. grated cheese
Greasea 13x9x3 inch casserole dish. Preheat oven to 375°F In large pan, cook onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Cook until onions are nearly clear - DO NOT BROWN. Add hamburger meat, and brown. Add tomatoes, chili powder, and tomato sauce. Add mushrooms, peas, and corn. Mix al well. Add cooked spaghetti and blend well. Pour half of mixture in casserole dish. Cover with 1 c. of cheese. Add remaining mixture. Top with other cup of cheese. Bake at 375°F for 20-30- minutes. Serve with garlic bread, salad, and brownies.
